Woot! Thank you so much, guys. You've all been lots of help to this lowly GoG noob. Pardon my french, but you guys kick ass :>
You've probably not had an answer because it's not really clear what your post is for.
If you want to know whether GOG support the games in Vista 32 and 64 bit, then yes, as that's what they advertise. If you have issues with the game you can raise a support ticket with them and they'll try to help you out.
If you want to know how they are packaged, read GOG's "about us" page. DRM stripped out, packaged and designed to work on XP and Vista (and hopefully soon Windows 7) at both 32 and 64 bit. Latest official patches are applied, but non-official stuff cannot be applied, though you'll find out what you can get through the forums. Plenty of extra material such as wallpapers, concept art, soundtracks, manuals, etc are available on purchasing the game.
If you have purchased the game (it isn't clear whether you have or not from your post) then if you are having problems you need to tell us what you've tried, such as running as administrator, installing to a non-OS protected folder, using compatibility modes, etc and what the nature of the issue is (crash to desktop, error messages, display problems, etc). Also, if you are having issues, raise a ticket with GOG.
