I have read on a few sights that a fallout game may be published in the mmorgp style. This seems like a hit or miss kind of thing. Could be great, or could be, well, anyone ever played NecroVisioN. Yeah, I think it has the potential to be that bad. Any opinions?
P.S.- As a completely unrelated side not, why is there a little star next to my rep info, but it isn't on anyone else's?

Interplay has the rights to make a Fallout MMO, but that is currently being contested by Bethesda. This seems to be because theres been little or no sign that Interplay are actually doing anything to create that MMO, and I'm assuming Bethesda (or Zenimax) want to try their hand.
The amount of stars is based on your amount of Rep.

k thanks just figured out that star thing right before you posted. Actually, in 07 interplay sold the IP for fallout mmorgp, and is now out of the timeframe to reserve rights to produce the game.
Bethesda has also bought rights to a Fallout TV series and movie. No idea how that would turn out. Actually I do. It would be bad. Very bad.

necrovision isn't an MMO, and I like that game, thank you.

I was just talking about the quality. And personally I thought it was horrible. Although I did like his tough-guy catch phrases.

lol they dident buy the rights of the tv and movies to make them lol and yes it would be bad. but they bought the rights so no one else can make anything else "fallout"

necro: lol they dident buy the rights of the tv and movies to make them lol and yes it would be bad. but they bought the rights so no one else can make anything else "fallout"

Or to sell the rights for a hefty fee to any poor soul suicidal enough to try and film this
But if Bethesda would do it that would be really, really bad.
