I bought FO Tactics last night and installed it via GOG. The problem I'm having is when I try to get xfire to manually recognize the game by going to c:_programfiles(x86)_FalloutTactics despite having the file to start the game in that directory, I get an error that the file cannot be found.
Can anyone offer a solution for how to get the GOG version of FO Tactics to be recognized by Xfire? Thanks in advance.
(Note: For those of you unfamiliar with xfire it's a chat program that you can use while you play your games www.xfire.com It works while you're ingame and offers a way to keep in touch with your friends while you play, and also keeps track of how much time you spend playing games)

psamathos: Just right-click in the directory, choose New, choose Text Document, then name it FalloutTacticsLauncher.exe.

Weclock: I personally had tried that method before posting my own and it did not work, specifically what I quoted.

It works, although you do need to turn of "hide known file types" in Explorer folder options or it will append .txt to the end of the file when you create it. This is for XP, I don't know about Vista.

I'm aware of that as well, as I've outlined that in the original solution. It may work for you, but for whatever reason at the time of the original posting for the solution, copying the .exe and renaming it was necessary.
