Currently playing am idiot character with the Bloody Mess perk.
I am freaking rampaging through Fallout 2, headshooting people, blowing up critters, and slicing mutants into tiny chunks with a laser. If that's not enough, thanks to GOG's DRM-less goodness, i'm playing on a netbook at work!
Thank you Gog for allowing me to be even more of a slacker.
I'm lovin' it!
I'm not an employee of GOG (nor do I play one on tv), but I agree. GOG and Fallout kick major buttocks.

Nice work you got.
Good point, Summit....I wanna work where Menelkir works. :-)
I love the freedom of choice with customizing your character, where you can go and what to do next. Just going to play Fallout 1 now for the first time. I hope I can create female characters in Fallout 1 like you can in Fallout 2. If not it's no big deal

Damn skippy you can! But you probably know that by now. :-)
Yes = ) I'm liking Fallout 1 just as much as Fallout 2 so far. It's certainly easier I think to start with than fallout 2's temple trial. I found that so annoying. Took too long and I hate those blasted Radscorpions.
I haven't played Fallout 2 yet, but one thing that will bug you about Fallout 1 is that npc's can sometimes stop in a doorway & unintentionally trap you in a room...not permanently, but it is a pain when you have to wait for them to move (no "shove" command like I've heard F2 has).
