Nice job, now where's the editorial for Fallout: Tactics?
*rolls up sleeves ready to level any anti-Tactics whiner*
Nice editorial! It's amazing how few people were responsible for a creation of a game in the 90s compared to today.
I heard on a recent PCGamer podcast that Bethesda pulled the plug on the MMO. Stating that one of the reasons was because the devs weren't making enough progress fast enough.
I think that is shame even though i don't really like MMO's it would have been nice to see how some of the original devs would handled another Fallout.

plug wasn't pulled, lawsuit threatened or pending.

I stand corrected.

New Vegas is also being made by some of the original devs.
Nice work. I have been Fallout fan from beging, so it very nice read thoughts of orginal desingers.
Thanks for this editorial, I find it to be a very interesting read.
Didn't know it was so hard to make this game but in a way it's great to read that a lot of people have worked day and night to get it finished.

Gexecuter: Cool retrospective, the bit where Ron Perlman threatened to kill Chris Avellone's family was shocking. Can we get the Mp3 of that as a bonus material for Fallout 2?

I was gonna ask the same thing. :D
Would be awesome to see "mp3s of Ron Perlman threatening to kill Chris Avellone, his family, and dog" in the bonus materials list.
It's actually very hot to be able to know this stuff first hand from the right people. I' d like to hear from Brian Fargo too though.
Anyway nice move GOG!
Great read. Both editorials are very interesting. Kudos to GOG
Thanks for both editorials, GOG. There will be another?
I love Fallout 3, and no fanboy is going to change my mind. (Let the flame wars begin!)
I also love Fallout 1, and after I beat that I plan on playing Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics.
So yeah, I love Fallout in general!
