So i have the Mordinos telling me to kill Salvitore, and i have the Wrights wanting a name for who killed their son(the answer i've already figured is in fact Salvitore).

Is there a way to please both families? I read a little into shit already and it said if Salvitore is already dead when you tell Wright he's hte man, Wright isn't pleased. Do you still get full EXP and everything else you would if you fingered him as the responsible party post-death?

I also know(through some fun playing around with the various suspects), that whoever you finger vanishes shortly after, curtesy of the Wrights of course. If I tell Wright that Salvitore is the culprit, and Salvitore dissapears as a result, does that ruin my chances of completing the Mordino quest(the hit on salv)? Or am i able to simply claim responsibility for his dissapearance?

Also, on another New Reno note, is there any way for me to get on Bishops good side? I found out too late that if you make any other connections prior to delivering the vault city briefcase to Bishop, he won't trust you. Is my only option now to complete all the other family quests, then just murder all of them, therefore cutting all the ties? Or would even that not work?

Don't kill Mr. Salvatore for Mr. Wright, it's not necessary. Just tell him the truth, there's no problem, you'll see. Just kill the old man after speaking with Wright, if you decided to become a Mordino.
Have you already completed some quests for the Salvatore? Don't miss the xp and money.

You only enter in one family after you finish the last quest (unless you don't speak with the boss). For example, you need to assassinate Salvatore to enter Mordino's family. Bishop won't mind if you did some quests (but not the final quest) for other families.
Be careful what you say to Thomas Moore. if you asked for money to deliver the briefcase, Mr. Bishop won't like it.

It's possible to do all the quests for all the families (it's even possible to become made man of all the families).

It's possible to be listed on your character sheet as Made Man for all four families at the same time, as outlined by Sébastien Caisse: "Once you've become a Made Man for a specific family, this family won't attack you any more. First you need to do all the possible quests for them, and not collect the final reward, and not assassinate Salvatore (until you're a Made Man for him). The trick is basically to sneak past everyone and collect your final reward by talking to the bosses before they engage in combat." Ryan P. Fialcowitz and Joshua Jansen then looked into the particulars and found there is another constraint: you must become Made Man for Bishop first, since Bishop's dialogue will change for the worse if you're already with some other family. This means that if you want all four you must end up allied with either the Wrights or the Mordinos. You will need to use a combination of Sneaking and running in combat mode to reach all bosses - saving a lot is recommended. Getting through the door to Salvatore is one of the tricky parts, but John Gaw points out: "If you talk to Mason while on good grounds, you can go into attack mode later and open the door with no problem whatsoever." Two more things should be noted. Firstly, despite what your character sheet says you will only be Made Man for one family at a time as far as the game is concerned, so there's no real reward for doing all this. Secondly, attacking the family you joined last will remove all Made Man labels from your list of reputations, but attacking any other family, including one you joined earlier, has no effect on them.

Hmm, lame. I think i did ask Moore for some money. I must have, cuz Bishop doesn't trust me and i receive no other options after delivering the briefcase. I deliver it, he makes it clear he doesn't like me, and it's get out or fight him. That's it. I have no access to his other quests.

Is there any way to get back on his good side or are you just fucked on the Bishop quests if you said the wrong things to Moore?

Unfortunately you might be screwed out of those quests. If it's important to you you'll have to revert to a (possibly much older) save - but I wouldn't bother, and just remember it for a future play-through. You're only missing two quests.

BTW for some strange reason, Fallout 2 quests for the most part seem to reward you more if you don't ask for anything when you're offered the quest or when you turn it in. No idea why this would be the case - logic would dictate that in general you find out what a job's worth before accepting it, but apparently once society has all but collapsed it's better to just offer to do random jobs for random people without asking for pay in the hope that you'll get a reward...!?

I can help you Jack, but I need your save files. Can you upload the SAVEGAME folder somewhere, and send me a message in chat with the link?

I got no interest in save state manipulations. Mainly just curious about this particular part of the game and if i'm essentially screwed on fully completing its missions.

That seems odd about the jobs. I know in Fallout 1 you could miss out on getting the best reward possible if you didn't ask the right things, haggle a little bit essentially. You do that to certain people here and you're fucked it seems.
