Hey, I've been seeing all of these recommendations for the F2 High Res patch, but I'm not really seeing it's advantage. When I try loading the game with it, I'm able to see more of the map at once, sure, but that doesn't seem to offset the fact that all of my text, UI, etc. becomes smaller in return.
Is this all the patch is supposed to do? Is there any real benefit to installing the patch? I tried playing with it uninstalled and everything just looked like it fit the screen better, like F1 (which I actually had a resolution patch for).
I'm using V1.6 because none of the V2.0 links that I've found are working. Thanks in advance for any help/advice!

Yeah, that is how it looks with the patch. It's not that much of a problem really, you just have to get used to it.
Also, v2.1 of the patch is right here.

Alright, thanks! I just had to be sure it was just a matter of taste and there wasn't actually a serious issue the patch was solving. And thank you for a working link .
