Hey y'all! Got a little situation here. I've just wiped out the Hubologist base for the Shi, and I'm at the stairs leading up, but whenever I click on them, the game crashes when it tries to load the next area. I've tried it multiple times...once it actually loaded the screen (I could see a scientist) but then immediately crashed. I've got a screen cap of the crash message.

Any ideas? I'm guessing I'm probably screwed and will have to go back to a previous save. *sigh* I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium.

Have you installed any mods? patches? The fallout restoration project patch is good to have installed in any case since it adds a LOT of missing content and fixes various bugs.
You've probably already loaded an earlier save by this point but if you were playing without the restoration project
then I'd suggest giving that a go. It comes highly recommended ;)

I actually have the same exact problem, right now.
Installing the Restoration Project didn't help. I also tried installing the Unofficial patch, but ended up having to reinstall the whole game because it wasn't compatible with the already installed Hi-Res patch.
I guess I'll have to go back to an earlier save as well :D

I've the same problem. The only thing weird I saw was that the force fields weren't up when trying to escape. Maybe that has something to do with it? I'll give it another go.
