Hi

I just got Fallout 1 and I cant find a fix for my issues anywhere. When I launch the game it only launches in a small box at the top right of the screen if their is anyway this can be fixed let me know as I have not found anything so far of this happening to anyone else.

I'm using Windows 8.1 with a powerful gaming computer and I would love to play through fallout 1 on full screen ( or close to) but I cant find a fix and have tried running the game in compatibly mode with XP vista windows 7 and ofc windows 8

Please if you have any suggestions tell me below that would be amazing.

Have you tried doing alt-enter? Maybe try reinstalling or changing your screen resolution, however it would help if you would give more details.

You can make it FullHD if you want... :>

The setting should be in nvidia or amd control panel, not in game.
If amd, it's in "digital flat panels/enable gpu scaling", something similar if nvidia.

Did you run it using "f1_res_Config.exe" file? In config window there is option "Windowed". Make sure it's not marked.

If it will not help, then maybe manual editing "f1_res.ini" file will help:

; Set WINDOWED=1 to enable windowed mode.
WINDOWED=1

; Set WINDOWED_FULLSCREEN=1 to play fallout in a borderless fullscreen top level window.(requirers WINDOWED=1)
WINDOWED_FULLSCREEN=0

Change it - first to "0" and second to "1".

Make sure that resolution fits you:

; Set the Fullscreen resolution here.
SCR_WIDTH=1920
SCR_HEIGHT=1080

Works?
