Greetings everyone.

So i was on the verge on competing the game for the first time, when I got stuck in the Mariposa base, between two yellow force fields.
The problem being that they're glitched, and when I open them they only stay that way for half a second.
I don't have any other save near this (and quite frankly I don't have the motivation to re-do the Cathedral again) and I can't get out of this corridor. I don't have any explosives neither.

Am I screwed?
Nevermind, since there probably is no solution I used a save editor to obtain explosives.

Sucks though.

Are you using the radio to open them?
You're supposed to "hack" the computer on the east side of the floor, then use a Radio on it. That'll make the radio be able to toggle the force fields on and off when you use it (except on the 4th floor if I remember correctly).

One of the mutants on the top level of the base should have a radio on him.

I didn't use the radio because I thought I could simply repair my way through the force fields, which is theoretically correct but due to that glitch you actually can't.

The problem was that I was actually stuck in the jail, in between two activated force-fields, unable to get out of that room. But using a save editor, I got out of it and finished the game no problem.

Moral of the story : don't use the repair technique to disable force fields, contemporary processors are apparently too fast and so the timer is sped up to a point where you only see the force fields briefly flash. I don't know if there's a solution to that, it seems to be a code problem.

If all else fails - use explosives and blow the force fields up. (yes you can do it)
I know, I simply wasn't carrying any at the time. Which is why I used a save editor to transform a first aid kit into plastic.
Without a save editor, I wouldn't have been to finish the game without going back ten hours of gameplay.
Hey guys. I found myself stuck in some sort of research military base. I got here from Necropolis when i was in search for broken pump parts. I have allowed mutants there to take me to guy called "Lou" in this base on LVL4, then i had to kill them all. There is autodestruction function but i need to clear my way out of here first. On LVL3 i can't pass through force field without using C4, I tried to use radio, hacking into control panel next to the emitter - nothing. I have some explosives but not sure if i have enough of to blow all forcefields on my way. Is there other options?
