I don't know what's going on, but the further in the game I get, the more the game will actually freeze my computer to the point where I have to hard reset it.
Afterwards, Fallout will load very slowly until I exit from the main menu and re-open it. Then it works just fine. Until it freezes again.
This has become frequent in the Mariposa Military Base.
The last straw was when my computer actually restarted on its own.
Is anyone else having this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
(For the record: Just the game off gog.com. No extra patches. No mods. No nothing.)

try disabling av/firewall and redownloading/reinstalling.

I tried turning off my anti-virus and spysweeper when playing, but the computer still locks up.
