Getting this error after exiting the game then trying to get back in. I am exiting through normal means, just by going to exit in the game, not doing any Alt-F4 or ctrl-alt-del and ending task or anything like that. Game runs fine otherwise. Only thing I see that works is restarting my computer, which is quite annoying. Tried going into the task manager to see if any remnant of the game was showing in there but there wasn't. It is for the GOG release I'm having this issue. Anyone else have a solution for this?

AMD Quad Core A6-3620
8GB RAM
Radeon HD 6970 2gb GPU
1TB Harddrive

1. Install the latest GOG.com version of Fallout 2.

2. Install the latest version of Killap's Unofficial Fallout 2 Patch (I used the windows installer and chose the Full Installation option).

3. Install the latest version of the Fallout 2 High-Res Patch.

4. Use f2_res_Config.exe to set up and enable my desired resolution (DDraw7 Mode, 1680x1050, 32bit color)
