was able to download the mod no problem.

v1.15.0
Hello folks. I gave it some time looking before I asked - but I searched looking for screenshots - and so far... unlucky I guess - I couldn't tell if I found or not mod screen shots. In short - I'm wondering if I can be pointed to some good places to see screenshots of the mods in action.

I'm simply debating getting the two enemy engaged heli stuff for using the mods - but I want to see if the graphics really do bring things up a notch. I love my simulators.. but with planes etc... to me - being able to have decent trees and ground that has enough detail to give you a good idea about altitude by sight so you don't have to glue your eyes to the altimeter while flying low (NOTE? 'Napp of the Earth" or something they call it :) )

If this is a terrible spot to ask about this - I'm sorry - I didn't really look on GOG for another thread but this one I found via a customer review that was nice enough to outline the "go here for more fun" route to all!

Side note - silly game - not nearly as real but kinda arcady sim - I love even though its old, simple, and really not graphically anything: Apache Air Assault - its all horrible - as a simmer - as a gamer who loves sims - it rocks! For totally different reasons... sorry I'm all off topic now...

Peace!

To be honest I never saw much difference in the terrain graphics with the mods than from the original games, maybe some higher res groundtextures but that is about it.
The mod mainly enhances the amount of flyable choppers and campaigns.

Thank You - Excellent! :)
EECH 1.15.2 is out!!!

EECH 1.16.0 is out:

http://eechcentral.simhq.com/index.php?title=Installation_guide
http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/4234430/EECH_ver1.16.0_is_out!#Post4234430

Note that there are 2 different files:
- eech-allmods-1.16.0FIX1-installer.exe (full 1.16.0 mod installer including the FIX1 patch, i. e. everything you need but the game files themselves)
- eech-1.16.0FIX1-patch.exe (FIX1 patch only; for updating an existing 1.16.0 installation)

Also note that the download link in the first URL above is (incorrectly) titled "eech-allmods-1.16.0 patch", but downloads the full 1.16.0 mod installer including the FIX1 patch.

The download links within the second URL above seem to be correct, though.

Perscienter: I'd like to know the same. I have working gauges for the Havoc in the modded EECH, so where's the difference?

Where is a complete installation guide concerning EEAH and EECH?

Why do helicopters at ground sometimes jump?

Alt + F3 and ALT + F4 sometimes just don't work correctly until I press it more often.

Why are all cockpits except the Comanche's and Hokum's so bad, especially the Longbow's?

Nothing against tinkering, but there should be one version which works well and is realistic.
how did you get gauges to work? i was never able to on the havoc.

You need to install first EEAH then EECH in merged mode (both in the same folder). Note that if you use Galaxy, it not allow to install the two games in the same folder.

I do have both installed in the same folder, but I still have that problem. It says "Apache vs Hokum: Installed" in the top right corner when the game starts. I noticed that the problem also appears on the KA-50 and also the Hind I think.

What is "Galaxy"?

Galaxy is the game client of GOG, such Steam and Origin, only that is fully optional.

About the gauges, if both games are installed, it's supossed that their need to work. You run EEAH at least once first?

You can try to install the latests mod for SimHQ, but be advised, the current modding team are purism fanatics, so if your like the original gameplay, you are to be disappointed, because the latest mods are oriented to make te game more realistic (and complex and boring) instead of a good balance between realism and fun.

This may be a silly question: I'm using Windows 8.1. I was looking at EECH with interest, but noticed that it is incompatible with Windows 8. Are there any mods or methods that will allow it to work properly with Win 8? I've googled a bit, and so far, I have not found a definite answer...

I'm running the game in Windows 10, so it should absolutely work, particularly since you can always run it in Win 7 or Win XP Compatibility Mode.

The GOG version already come moded, anyway, if you run in any problem, you can update the mod to a newer version, but note that in the latest versions, the current moder crew forgot about that this is a mid-tier sim game, and are converting it in one of those niche hard-tier with a complex and boring realism sim game.

Edit. I'm forgot to put the link of the mod: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/4234430/1/EECH_ver1.16.0_is_out!
