<Insert Threadomancy skills here> so as not to waste valuable main forum space with a dupe post. Seeing the above has me thinking. Would it be possible to scrap DOSBox entirely and run the game on a Virtual Machine like Virtual Box? I'm willing to test that out, however, IDK what'd be the best OS version to emulate, if anyone has some ideas please let me know as I've been trying to get this game for well-on 20 years now and neglected to snag the game from the shelves during initial release and decided to snag it now since it's on such a nice sale. I figure, paying 2 bucks and about 20-30 hours of work just to get it to work to then only get pissed off and disappointed because the game isn't what I expected for two decades would fulfill my yearly quota of self-inflicted masochism.

At any rate, if anyone has an idea of which windows OS config may perform better playing this game, let me know please.
A friend of mine is trying to help me get it to run on PCEM, once he's done helping me i'm sure he'd like to help you out!
edit: we couldn't figure it out

the new GOG version of Redguard has glide built in I have no issues running it other than that typical vertical line in the movies which i believe existed even in the original game at 1024x768.
