Being that the original Dungeon Keeper CD was a mixed mode CD the music was on the disc in CDA format. It would be fantastic if GOG would release those tracks. (OGG is a lossy format after all...)

Being that OGG files come with DK1 on GOG i don't think the inclusion of FLAC files as a bonus would be that much of burden since those OGG files had to be ripped from CD to begin with.

Maybe with enough community support here on the forums GOG would offer such.

and, maybe then KeeperFX would offer FLAC support thereafter.

so please by all means reply, chime in, and put your name down for wanting FLAC files for DK1

That would be a nice addition - if Tomasz could/would do it.

I don't understand the way GoG does things sometimes...

Take Syndicate Wars for example:

They've included a full (BIN/CUE) image, mounted within DOSBOX - so we're getting the full music quality.

Perfect!

Getting the music files for the port just requires mounting and ripping the tracks off.

With Dungeon Keeper they've removed the music entirely from the image.

Mounting those vorbis files instead =\

At least be consistent GoG! =D Is it disc images or vorbis rips? I'd want the former personally, it really wouldn't push the size up by that much, a few hundred MB at most.

There's still a few places where you can obtain a full DKGOLD BIN/CUE thankfully.

So I'll fulfill your request shortly...

I'll post FLAC & some higher quality Vorbis.

That can happens because when Gog need to resurrect an old game not always have all the original resources for do it.
