It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like:Chrome,Firefox,Internet Explorer orOpera

Are there any advantages or disadvantages of choosing one graphics mode over the other or are they all the same and it's a matter of choosing the one that is most compatible with your system?
SVGA is the best looking, in my opinion. VGA if you're really nostalgic!

Sorry, I should have been more specific. :D I meant how in the start menu after you click "graphic mode setup" you can choose between overlay, surface, direct3d, ddraw, and open gl... which one of those is the best? :)

if it is for eDuke 32....then go for the one that looks best and is compatible for your system. I think Direct3d is best, but that's because I have integrated graphics that don't play nice with openGL XD.
blessex, it is only for making it work. there aren't visual differences.
