I keep getting this error when trying to run the game. I've already changed my graphics mode setup to 'OpenGL' and done things like right clicking file>run as administrator & changing my display settings to 16bit as well as setting the compatibility mode to run in 640x480 but none of these work. Help?
Using Vista Premium 32bit for OS

It almost sounds as if you're not using the DosBox links provided, but trying to run duke3d.exe directly. Use the DosBox shell links provided by the GoG installer. DosBox should allow the game to run fullscreen.
You could also try downloading the windows shell eduke32.
Thanks, I thought GoG would've made it more clear to use. Total noob at DOS commands, eduke32 works brilliantly without the head-scratching method :P
Do all GoG games rely on DOSBox?

No, just the ones that were originally designed to run in DOS. Though some of the games have user-made windows ports like eduke32.
Newer GoG games that were designed to run on Windows generally run fine on both XP and Vista.

How do I get it to work in either dosbox or eduke32? I tried both and neither worked.
