I don't have a Linux configuration I like yet, but when I saw this game is being discontinued, I went to D/L the Linux version. GOG Downloader doesn't do anything, and clicking in the shelf with Linux selected gives a 403.

Wishing I'd have downloaded it last week.. Is there any way of getting it now?

Thanks

Use the browser download.

The game is not going anywhere for those who own it, you know. So there's no special hurry if it's already in your library.
If the problem with not being able to download the Linux installer persists after a couple days, I'd just contact Support.

Click on the game, set it to Linux, click on the game download? That's what's giving the 403: Forbidden.

I thought you said you were using the GOG Downloader? You also didn't mention which game.

Which Duke game are you trying to download?
Duke, Duke 2, and Duke 3D.
Tried downloading the game from another computer that runs Windows perhaps? I say Windows because I downloaded the game's backup installer for Linux (to use in a Linux VM), and it worked through GOG Galaxy, which unfortunately is for Windows only. Do you know how to download games through GOG Downloader either?

But in anyways, don't worry. Duke is not going from your library anywhere. Its the same as what happened with the Fallout classics. I have 1, 2 and Tactics in a GOG giveaway of them and they were intact even after they were removed from the store. You can also try perhaps GOGrepo or something of a similar name, if I remember well they're Python scripts that do the job.

Thorfinn: Duke, Duke 2, and Duke 3D.
These worked (though one download did need to be retried, likely an issue on my end) when downloading from my shelf (through Firefox on Windows) with the Linux option selected.

gog_duke_nukem_2.0.0.2
gog_duke_nukem_2_2.0.0.2
gog_duke_nukem_3d_atomic_edition_2.0.0.8

all .sh files for Linux

Have you attempted to download them again since you made this thread? It might be that GOG's servers were having some weird temporary issues.
Just tried again. All 3 give a page saying simply:

403 - Forbidden
Try another browser perhaps. Log out and log in again on your old browser too.
