I use eduke and it works great, but as far as gog being responsible for bundling all these mods with it, I don't think that's they're job. I'm sure some people prefer to play it the way it was made. They released it unchanged, and that's how it should be.

Im just glad people are playing it again..I understand the nostalgia thing....but i remember Dos..it was confusing and frustrating...but if someone grew up using it then im sure theyd love dos box..Im just glad we can leave it behind if we want and use EDuke32.....its rare that a mod takes an old game and brings it back to life..id love it if there was a hi res pack for Shadow Warrior and Blood......right now im going on an id games nostalgia trip..im starting with Wolfenstein 3d , then the Dooms, Then the Quakes etc

don't forget Spear and the lost episodes.

Jeffpiatt: don't forget Spear and the lost episodes.

As far as I know the lost episodes were made by FormGen which was bought out by GT Interactive (now owned by ATARI). It is very unlikely we get it any time soon. We need to beg ATARI for another century for it. But it would be great to have complete Wolfenstein game pack once and for all.
They were included in the Activision budget release. Aren't they included with the Steam version of Spear?

both the id store download and Steam include the lost episodes id gained the rights to those episodes after buying out of Formgen/GT/Atari. The stuff on Steam and ID's site are the activision packed versions funny thing is the sod exe still had it's FormGen credit in it and it's apogee beta testers refrence while Wolfenstine 3d removes all mentions of apogee. The steam Wolfenstine super pack is every wolfenstine game up to RCTW.

I have bough the game in Steam, will check and advise tomorrow.
Oh, it is only 13Mb.
I can confirm that there are all 3 episodes available on Steam version of Wolfenstein 3D: Spear of Destiny (you may check the screen if you like).
Now I want to have Quake 4 and Heretic II available someday soon.
