I installed Duke Nukem 3D and not only does the DOS version have terrible music, but the game looks and controls like ABSOLUTE ARSE. I can't even change controls in the options menu to a less retarded configuration ( i.e cursor keys to run, backpedal and strafe, space to jump ctrl to crouch etc.) because there IS no control rebind option. also the mouse look is disabled by default and in order to look up and down by moving the mouse in those respective directions, I have to invert the mouselook?! any help? like a link to eDuke V32 perhaps?

also, pardon my French in the topic name by the way, I'm just very frustrated at this irritating bug. Blood has it too.

Eduke always had better controls I think. As for the music and graphics, its going to be like that unless you use the Megaton Edition or the HRP with Eduke.

There IS a control rebind option for the BUILD engine games (Blood, Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior, Redneck Rampage). But to get to it you have to go via the game setup utility. As for the mouselook, if I remember rightly it is bound to the U key as a toggle.

For Duke Nukem 3D, though, eDuke32 is recommended.

I have eDuke now but how do I enable 3D models instead of sprites?

There are pre-built packages of the HRP which includes the HRP files, remastered? audio, and compatible eduke. That is the easiest way to do it as all of the resource loading is pre-configured.
