I'm trying the eDuke32 since it has gotten high praise but I'm unable to play for some reason.
The game starts nicely, but I cannot seem to get focus set on the application!
To be more precise, I can get the application to be the current one and the topmost but it does not respond to keyboard or mouse events.

I have WIndows XP and Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000.

Hmmm... try another source port, and see if they work.

Have you tried different versions of eDuke32 to see if it is a bug that has crept into the version you are using?

It was a strange firewall problem, fixed now.
