The app is just a dollar and its the entire game. I recommend it over the gog version, a real first but hey its a great deal. Its doesn't have Manhattan Project so GOG still has that ace in the hole.

BTW i wonder if we will ever see a version of the first two 2D games anywhere for sale again. The guys who own the game rights to the Duke seem to be embarrassed by them and only a Game Boy Color of 2 and them being secret games in the files of copies of retail version of 3D are the only time I seen them outside the original DOS release
I got the iPhone game a while back when it was free for a day.

I wouldn't recommend the iPhone version over the PC version. For one, there is no in-game music. Secondly, only episodes 1-3 are included--episode 4 (the Atomic Edition episode) is missing. Also i find the touch controls clumsy and poorly designed, but that's just my opinion.

Given the low price though, you don't have anything to lose by getting this game if you want to try it out. Just don't expect to find a full replacement for the original.

Also they censored the nudity.
I found the controls impossible but hell for $1 how can you complain?! It's duke! in your pocket!
I'll stick with Tiger's Game.com port for my portable Duke Nukem thank you very much!

Nah just kidding. If I had an iPhone I might check it out. The closest thing to a game on my phone is a camera.
