Once back in the days I had a very special version of this game. It was bugged up the butt, to an extent that I couldn't barerly play it. The bug caused item pick ups to fly around all over the place, so you could imagine how hard it was to find the red key card in E1L1 when it wasn't where it was supposed to be. ;)

I think it was the shareware version. Later I got the CD and I never encountered it again (sadly).

I think they purged the bugged shareware version out the airlock. AFAIK I haven't seen it anywhere for the past 10 years.

You could try of course. I see no reason in it now since it makes it impossible to beat the game.

I may give it a shot. I'll report back here if I find that the version you mentioned is among those available here.
