If you use eDuke32 and somehow manage to get the files of a steam megaton pack, you can. I don't remember how to do it exactly, but it is achievable as I did it before I bought Megaton Edition. Wasn't too hard either, just copying folders and selecting a few options at eDuke launcher if memory serves right.
