How to open that one door? Was randomly exploring the world and stumbled over it. Beat that monster thing in the North but can't open the door a bit back.

Also, is the game that easy or am I overleveled (was level 15 when I beat that monster) for this? It's not like I killed monsters on the side, have only followed the quests so far (until I saw the path down there while escorting the head).

PS: Will I ever be able to swim? In the temple there are some ladders and ways but they are inaccessible because of the water.

It's part of one of Wyrm Hunt quests you can get from Ser Maximillian later in the game. Can't be explored fully until then.

Ah, ok, thank you.

What about the swimming part though? There are ways and ladders on the map in the altar, so wouldn't it be weird if I could never access those?
All I can say is that I could explore that place fully without even knowing about Wyrm Hunt quests!!!

But you should not worry about it too much since I'm a sick bastard that explored the entire map at the very beginning without any reason :(

There is a locked door in the temple that requires a jewel to open. Behind it are the floodgate controls, allowing you to drain the lower floors.

Also, bring 3-4 pawns along for the quest, else it will literally be a burden to complete...

Depends. Have you equipped the gear that was stashed at the beginning of the game? Vagabonds Armor or any of the others?
These are quite good pieces of armor that belong to a DLC, and they are really good. They can really easily carry you through a good chunk of the game, I think.

Yeah, two rings and two or three pieces. I wondered where that stuff came from but since I looked at it at a later point, I thought it was some kind of quest reward. Seems kinda lame that those DLC items tip the balance (they didn't give much more armor but good resistance and whatever is below).
