Can anyone help me out with this, I have average computer literacy, certainly less than many of the tech savvy type that come here. I have a HP gaming laptop 2016, intel core i7-6500U Processor and Nvidia Geforce 940M graphics.. I can play it at high graphic setting obviously. Can someone give pointers on resolution or something else that would help? I still get black bars on the sides and top of the screen, it just wont do complete fullscreen for me.. Thanks

from what i can see that seems to be the way the game was designed
prolly to allow you the player a better (wider) view of your surroundings

but then again im no tech wiz

But Ive watched some playthroughs on youtube, they have it in fullscreen. Can anyone else confirm this? I'd love to play it fullscreen.

This is a GPU setting, not Game issue.

You are almost certainly running at a resolution that is less than your screen.

There is a GPU setting that decides whether to scale, you likely have it set to "no Scaling".

Two choices run at higher resolution (same as monitor), or enable scaling in your GPU settings (See attached).

Is the game running at the native resolution of the laptop? If it isn't there may be a setting in the "Nvidia control panel"
