On the secret level of Pharoah from TNT:Evilution. Is the yellow key bug present in this version? Where the yellow key is missing. It's supposed to be next to the crusher thing IIRC.

If it's still there here's the fix here: http://www.teamtnt.com/other/tnt31fix.zip

UPDATE: I warped to level 31, used a few other cheats to make my way overthere and the yellow keycard is there! Disregard this thread I guess but I'll leave the fix here for future reference.

There was a version of Final Doom that is found in some printings of the id Anthology box where many bugs, including this one, are fixed. Other fixes included adding multiplayer starts where they were missing. The GOG staff is pretty good at finding the best versions of the games, so it's not surprising they used the newer anthology version of Final Doom.

Makes me think that the Book of Id and the Doom Comic would be nice bonus material, hint hint. :)
You can also check which version of the game files you have using this wiki page:

http://doomwiki.org/wiki/IWAD

Specifically for TNT:

I have written mismatch, sorry.

Marty2GOG: Yes this Yellow Key Bug is PRESENT in this Version too. Hash is the same how the rare ID Anthology Version. You can test self by runnung the Demo from http://classicdoom.com/tntdemos.htm#tnt31ex. I use Eternity Engin and start the TNT31ALL.LMP. The Demo runs out of Sync. With the applied the TNTFIX Demo runs fine.
The gog version doesn't have the yellow key bug. You can check it yourself in slade or any other level editor. This version of map 31 doesn't have the multiplayer flag set on the yellow flag!

As the map lumps from the fixed tnt.wad and tnt31fix.wad differ, the demo that is made for the tnt31fix.wad version will desync. You don't need need the additional fix.

They gog version includes the fixed version of plutionia, too.

OK your Right ,

but why has the map31 the same 'Map Lumps size's' in the TNT Regular Version and ID Anthology Version and GOG Version and the Map31 in the TNT31FIX.WAD is the Map Lump size's bigger?

I check this with Slade. thanks for your Info

What's this then? I wasn't aware Plutonia needed fixing. Is it the same file as the rare ID Anthology one, just like TNT is? If so, that might be why I never noticed it needed fixing as that's the one I have on retail disc. :) Still bought it again on GOG though.

Yes. It's the rare Anthology version. The original version of Plutonia has some maps without deathmatch start positions.

I assume they've used a different map editor. They seem to generate different lump sizes.

Ah, Deathmatch, another reason why I never knew anything was wrong with Plutonia. Never played the deathmatch in Doom as I came way too late to online gaming.
