This happens sometimes but, I guess it is not from the device, it might be from network service, some told me the same issue similar to yours, I use that opportunity to link him to a site last week, and thereafter he got a result, that would amazing if you will give it a try. Check it out.

honestly the one good thing I can say about steam is that it had such poor customer service that it drove me off the platform early and - in part - started my path of learning about DRM free gaming.

It sucks to be treated as a second class citizen by so many publishers but I have zero regrets about leaving steam behind and no longer buying any games with DRM.

Loved Don't Starve, would love to play online with friends. As others have said I'd even buy it again at retail here on GOG, but for me at least I'm not going to be playing it via steam even if someone gave me a copy for free.

DST really isn't that much of a loss. Everything is spongy and grindy, more so than vanilla. It's fun to play with a freind, of course. But we're not missing out on a whole lot, especially if Hamlet is released on GoG.

Aww, this is very disappointing! I've just been watching some people play this game together on Youtube for several hours after I had previously decided this game was not for me, but after seeing how fun it was in multiplayer I wanted to play it with a friend so I came here to buy it just to see on the store page that it is single-player on GOG :( I'm not on Steam, not will I ever be so it looks like I can't buy it now :(
I would have held hope for multiplayer to come here as well, but seeing that this thread is so old, I don't have much hope sadly :(
