When I wanted to enter the game it froze when I Alt+Tabbed out of the game so much, that the music lingered and the cursor stayed, doing absolutely nothing. Edit: It happened at the loeading screen from the main menu transiting to continue a saved game. Ctrl+Alt+Delete couldn't solve it either. I could click Task Manager, however the cursor was so persistent, that it didn't allow me to click Anything. Windows key let me to Log Out but this is too much! What if I had something unsaved? Please fix it, if you have the time. Thank you so much, yours sincerely,

I just alt-tabbed from the main menu and back without a problem. In fact, I alt-tabbed out just to write this post...;) Sounds like your problem is local.

It doesn't happen everytime of course. I just did it many times, but once it occured. I don't think it's local, I think it is rare but should be investigated, because it wasn't coincidental and it is still annoying and nothing else did this. I have been gaming for 16 years and I haven't seen a bug that froze my whole system unable to do anything since. Just because it is rare it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

i had a similar issue, try changing your settings to "Fake fullscreen" and see if that helps
