I read the read me, put the editor and projects folder in the DefEd/Data folder but the read me didn't say where to put the DoS2_Editor_DefEd folder. So I put that in the DefEd/Data folder too. It starts up just fine so I'm assuming it's good. I'm also assuming that the DoS2_Editor_DefEd folder means it's stand alone and it doesn't matter where I put that as long as the editor points to DefEd/Data.

yeah I had to guess its correct too. So far i started it and i had to enter the path to it on a little pop up window. I tried sandbox mode to test out directional controls. It seems to work, though i see some kind of messages in the text window. I have seen errors in other editors that were supposed to be ignorable, though it is a shame not knowing the meaning of the readout.

Ya, I think we got it. It's been running for me. Have you had problems with the mouse pointer not showing up? The editor seem to run fine before the last update. Not sure if the editor was updated also at the end of january.

Mouse pointer is there. Middle mouse button held down + clicking right click at same time seems to activate mouse pointer in the scene window, was also confused about that at first.
W, A, S, D or up, down, left, right arrow keys move camera whatever direction you are facing. Holding middle mouse button and moving mouse rotates from current camera postion.
In the other preview window camera movement controls utilize left click, right click and middle mouse button and also differently.
