I've discovered that in 2006 it was released Rise of the Elves Gold, which is a rerelease of Rise of the Elves with an additional 4 mission mini campaign. Since Disciples 2 Gold was released in 2005, its retail version lacks it (it has Rise of the Elves but no Rise of the Elves Gold). Does the GOG version have it or is it identical to the retail version?
Yes, gog version contains all expansions (Guardians of the Light, Servants of the Dark, and Rise of the Elves). I have it and confirm this.

I know it has Rise of the Elves, i wonder if it has Rise of the Elves Gold, which is a rerelease of Rise of the Elves with additional content.

Can you give us a name of the additional missions/campaign, so we are able to search those in-game?

This is all that is mentioned in the net:
Disciples II: Rise Of The Elves Gold edition features all of the campaigns found in the original and a brand new campaign that continues the storyline of the Elven Race. It also includes 14 new skirmish maps to test hone your skills.
Does this version have a single exec for both Disciples 2 Gold and Rise of the Elves or is it separate as in the cd Gold version?

It's separate.
I thought I'd give this one a bump, since the question is a worthy one - does the GOG pack include Rise of the Elves, or Rise of the Elves Gold?

Ehm, I'm very interested in this - can somebody clarify? I'm pretty sure the version included is not "elves-gold", ie it does not include the additional 4-mission minicampaign. Anybody knows if/where it can be downloaded separately, in case?
Maybe GOG can ask them and put it up from free...

I haven't played it yet, but the discs in my jewel-case copy of the game are labeled "Rise of the Elves Gold." Hope this helps.

Hi guys. My copy of the Rise of the Elves - GOLD edition just came. I also read there should be a 4-mission mini-campaign that continues the elven story, so I ordered this edition. Guess what - I am unable to get to this campaign. It doesn't work the way previous expansions worked - you cannot select "regular" elven campaign and this one. It just launches the regular 8-mission elven campaign and that's it. Doesn't offer you importing of your original elven hero, like in the other expansions. Any ideas?
Edit: Just figured it out. It's in Custom Saga and it's a 3-quest campaign, not a 4-quest one. And regarding above discussion - you can only find this campaign in Rise Of The Elves GOLD edition from 2006.

That is interesting, and worthy of the attention of the GoG team...
Is it possible to get some imput from them?
Anyways, what is the quality of this new mini campaign?
Does it follow up the Rise of the Elves campaign?
And what about these new 14 scenarios?
You know, if someone actually TOLD us how are the maps called, we could look at the Rise of the elves from GoG and see if they're there. I for one couldn't find any 3-mission long campaign in the custom maps.
