Heya, I was playing earlier, and when I got back home from eating dinner I went to play and it's not letting me. The play button is Gray? It doesn't say I have an update or anything, I have Version 1.09V3. I'm unsure of what to do?

I have the same issue. I have tried many things and nothing works, including downloading the files for offline mode.

I don't have any helpful advice to give but am posting this reply to hope this post gets attention and somebody can help with it.

I submitted a reuest for tecnhical support to GOG but have not heard anything other than an auto-reply.

You'll have to be a little patient but they should get back within 24 hours. If you and they working together can't get it resolved you are entitled to a refund, but hopefully you can get it figured out!
I found something that worked for me, but not sure if this will work for everybody.

First, I updated Windows 10.

Next, I uninstalled and then reinstalled GOG galaxy.

Then, I reinstalled Diablo 1. Once the reinstallation was complete, I had the newest version of Diablo installed, and the "play" option was no longer grayed out. I ran the game (updated version) without any problems. I am not sure if it was the windows update or reinstalling Gog, or reinstalled diablo, that fixed it, but some combination of those things seems to have fixed it,
running the game without gog galaxy removes that play button all together and lets you run it from the start menu. it solves the autopatch requirements.
