Sorry for the mix up earlier Mark, i was typing from my phone. The only thing i can think of to try that i'm not sure we've attempted yet is to completely remove Mankind Divided, go in and get rid of all registry entries referring to it, get rid of Galaxy and Steam, and all their registry entries. And then, try a fresh install again, once with the offline installers, and once with Galaxy and see what happens.

If we assume the game is working as its supposed to, and we further assume that we're supposed to get the credits and such per save game, then i wonder if the game might be referring to remnants of some previous install and thus getting turned around. I realize it's probably a stretch. I'm leaning toward something just being wrong myself, but i guess it'd give us something to do.

Mark-Mark: ...
And I'm not disagreeing with your posts and the methods you named, but initially I was just saying: Either DRM was not removed as promised, or there MUST be an option to circumvent this limitation. Yes, I was too specific about account binding, but just because it's the most likely way it was implemented before on Steam.

First try to get the items a second time would be to move all files out of the savegame folder and then start a new game again. Of course, info about the items can be stored somewhere else and might be hard to find and/or edit, but without DRM possible in some way.

An update to my own "missing items and not working DLC" situation:
- the DLC story missions are playable now
- the "Storage" tab is available now including the weapons
- outfits are available
- there are no "one time use" items (Praxis Kit, Credits, ammo etc.) from the DLCs in the "Storage" tab
--- I think this _could_ be a side effect of the missing online components like the store.

That is in line with what dyscode wrote in his post.

What did I do? Well, I just verified the installation of the game through the Galaxy client. It seems the initial installation was - in regards to the DLC - somehow faulty.

In the case of the steam game there are 8 files in the DLC/runtime folder called things like

DLCPreOrder.layer.0.all.archive
DLCPackTactical.layer.0.all.archive
DLCPackIntruder.layer.0.all.archive
DLCPackEnforcer.layer.0.all.archive
DLCPackClassic.layer.0.all.archive
DLCPackAssault.layer.0.all.archive
DLC02.layer.0.all.archive
DLC01.layer.0.all.archive

I'd guess those are the libraries which contain the dlc files they range in size from as small as a 1mb up to 8.45GB.

My suspicion is as they are case sensitive in my steam directory perhaps the GOG installer converted the upper case to lower case and that meant the files weren't detected properly by the game.... but this is just my best guess.

If you are using an old save file it is possible if the information about the one time use items is stored in the save file itself, the old save file might have been marked that those things have already been consumed.

I am not ... it was a fresh installation and no saves were present.

Anyone missing DLC content after first install (without previous saved games), can you confirm you're using offline installer without Galaxy? Sounds like this may require GOG Galaxy to activate the DLC.

Yes, i already contacted support about this issue. Closing Galaxy and killing the GalaxyCommunication.exe in the task manager causes that the DLC content isn't working.
I used the offline installers & none of the DLC seems to work. I'm using Wine though so I couldn't be certain whether it was the installers at fault or some issue with Wine... given what I'm reading here though it sounds like it's the offline installers that are a bit broken though.

I have tested installing the game through the offline installer and through galaxy, with the same outcome.

Launching the game directly without Galaxy results in the DLC being unavailable with an Unknown next to to them. On the attached screenshot you can clearly see the message as well as "Connection Failed: Square Enix servers are currently unavailable. Try again later.". However, launching the game through Galaxy with an active internet connection gets the DLC working. I have also tested blocking the executable in my firewall, which breaks the DLC as well with or without launching through Galaxy.

This is what I have tested, using either the offline installer or installing the game through Galaxy (in the case of the offline installer, I had imported the installation folder with Galaxy to test when using Galaxy).

1) Launching without Galaxy and blocked the game executable through my firewall: DLC does not work;
2) Launching without Galaxy and allowed the game executable through my firewall: DLC does not work;
3) Launching with Galaxy and blocked the game executable through my firewall: DLC does not work;
4) Launching with Galaxy and allowed the game executable through my firewall: DLC works.

So there is only one condition on which the DLC works, and that is when using Galaxy and letting the game contact the Square Enix servers, otherwise no deal. This is DRM.

Edit: for some reason I cannot see the screenshot? Anyway, this is an imgur link to it: https://i.imgur.com/LPmmjKE.jpg

Thanks for checking! I was really glad about the release, but this is disappointing, to say the least.
I'm disapponted... I just asked for a refund.
If this online drm turn out to be true i am asking for refund, everyone here should, as a nice reminder to gog what happen when they lie to their customers
Not saying where i found this screenshot, but look at what it turn out to be
Quick answer, yes, the dlc still require authentication from squeenix server to work

I have just found the source for that screenshot you attached, so yes, it is confirmed that this release requires a "workaround" to work 100% offline.

What a damned shame.
