It was driving me almost crazy where I first read about new Desperados is in the making, but once I found that it is called project Kartoffel, I was just a search button away.
It was mentioned here:

Desperados is one of my all-time favorites, Shadow Tactics was Game of the Year for me and this is easily the best news of the decade.
