There seems to be some missing English voiceovers in a few parts of the game. The unfortunate side effect is that the captions don't stay on the screen for these either -- they just blink. I've noticed a few spots but finally ran into a rather major one -- this happens to all strings related to the windshield on the truck. In this case it is still possible to figure out exactly what needs to be done so it is not breaking the game yet. Did anybody encounter any of these later in the game? Any of these really ruining the game?

I recall 1 or 2 more instances of this bug. But the windshield is the most "problematic" of them. I think the other missing captions was related to scenery. So not gamebreaking. Actually more annoyed with some of the puzzles tending towards the obscure or illogical. Ofc, monkey island comes to mind, probably a source of influence and inspiration for the humor and some of the wacky characters / puzzles.

Does not look like save games survive the update well -- I am getting completely black characters all over the place. I guess I'll have to replay from the scratch. Bummer.

Still same problems. Missing English voices and text - but replaced to DEU voice and text.... and all that in "ultimate" Complete Journey. Anyway, that happened rarely for very "minor" wrong actions.
