Hallo zusammen,

(Deutsche Übersetzung von fronzelneekburm)

Hi everyone,

As of today, the third and final part of the Deponia series, Goodbye Deponia, is now available in German!

In order to make this as easy as possible and not have you download all 3+ GBs of the installer, we put up a patch that adds the German language version of Deponia 3 to your current install. We have also updated the installers.

Thanks and have a nice day! :)

(translation into German provided by fronzelneekburm)
Wurde auch mal Zeit! Gute Nachrichten, Danke. ;-)

And again, I am happy that I bought the game here at GOG.com. Hopefully Daedalic will follow a closer strategy for German releases like they've done with Blackguards rather than what they did with Deponia 3. Day-1 multi-language releases in the future ftw! At least I will most probably continue to buy their games here at GOG.com.

Now I will finally play the game that I purchased nearly half a year ago. :-)

Well, thanks but this is badly timed indeed. As I seen the title in the Insomnia Promo I still was wondering if it is true. And now it's to late :/
I guess I will just wait for Deponia Complete that will be released this summer then ;)

thank you thank you thank you thank you

just saw it after i purchased it on the sale :)

you make me so happy. and my wallet so empty haha
I seem to have a problem to get the game on German. After downloading the full German installer and installing it, the game is still in English. I could not try the German update patch because it only tells me I already have this version of the game installed.

Maybe I missed an option to change the language in a menu or the full installer is not correct. Any guesses or hints?

We also updated the installer so if you're for it, try that installer and then change the language using the options menu :)

Thanks again for the quick reply Judas, after work-time once again I suppose. I honour that a lot.

I did not have the installer, so I downloaded the "new" German installer. The configuration tool is German, although I think it also always was available in German from the start, the game itself is still English though. I did not find an option to change the language, neither in the configuration tool nor in the game itself. So where should this option be?

I will look into it tomorrow after work again. :-(

If you have downloaded the installer I put up earlier and things are still wonky, please write to Support :)
Das war ja unerwartet! :-)

P.S. Es heißt "hallo alle" und nicht "hallo zusammen".

Abhängig davon, wo man herkommt, ist "hallo zusammen" durchaus richtig. Also mal langsam.
I never said "Hallo alle" in my life. "Hallo zusammen" is completely okay :)

For the german release: YES! Thank You!
I bought "Deponia 3" yesterday in the sale and didn´t know that there was the release of the german version. So awesome! :D

Language selection will be found in Main-menu (middle lower part of screen - a picture with speech bubbles).
Downloaded the installer yesterday evening (gog: 2.0.1.9 - Game version: 1.1.3.3284), at first run there was the language selection, but you can change text and/or voice anytime (in any combination).

"Hallo zusammen" gets 7 million google results, by the way. ;P

That aside, I've never (literally not once in my almost 30 years on this planet) seen someone walk into a crowded room, greeting everybody with a friendly "Hallo alle!". While "alle" IS a literal translation of "everybody", it just sounds odd to me used this way. "Hallo an alle!" on the other hand is perfectly common. If we'd throw both our translations together and say "Hallo alle zusammen!", that would also work.

Nichts für ungut! ;)

Duh, you're absolutely right - I missed the preposition and didn't even notice it until now.

Apologies to anyone I upset with my stupid omission >//<

An alle - machst gut und Entschuldigung!
That's good and unexpected news!

Will buy it when it's on sale the next time (would've bought at full price if they would have given us the German version right from the start).
