It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

styggron: XJay did. So long as at least one person did else GoG won't know about it.
What does that have to do with people being unable to create a support ticket?

it continues your sentence.

Your sentence ended with "I didn't actually try to send it:"

to which I replied

"XJay did". Hence it continues your sentence and states that XJay did send it.

The link works but it never "submits" so lets hope XJay's got through. :)
Getting "error in chunk 7" with other titles too now. This is NOT good.

Albedo: Eyes from Outer Space
Same thing: unable to download with most recent Galaxy (1.0.5.14), it downloads, then just says "Faled" and does nothing.
This is really serious as it has STILL not been fixed.
Everyone really needs to report this so they can fix it.

Having similar problems with Interstellaria. The GoG downloader sits there paused no matter what you do, the download never starts....argghhhh
Sent a report myself just now. Sees they maybe are working on the issue as I had this with Final Liberation: Warhammer 40,000 Epic when it released but that's now downloaded ok. Just Defcon for me at the moment still having issue.
Imagine they're bit busy prepping for windows 10.

Having a similar issue with several now.
Clear and Breach for example, the download never starts up. It just sits there saying it is paused and never starts. Also 3 other titles I just bought do the same thing.

I don't like this at all. Gog may be changing how downloads work and this will eventually kill the GoG downloader I guess. We know this is coming eventually. Understandable they can't maintain 2 download systems.

Pity though. Not good at all.

:( :( :( :(

I guess we will need to pick our own download manager for manual downloads eventually. Seems to be sooner rather than later. :( :(

I've reported Defcon which is definitely a corrupted file, also reported Instellaria and Breach and Clear downloads never "start" with GoG downloader. Lets see what happens.

xjay73: I sent a support ticket request for this problem a couple of days ago... still waiting for it to be addressed. My guess is they just need to update their checksums file, so hopefully they will get to it soon.

styggron: Any news yet ?

Also I noticed people saying they were unable to open a ticket. Same here........I wonder what is up with that.
After sending me a couple of generic "prerecorded" emails, they did finally send me a follow-up that amounted to them doing nothing. By that point, I had already downloaded it directly (without using Downloader or Galaxy), so I just tossed their response in File 13, figuring they had heard about the issue from other people by then anyway. The direct download completed fine, but I haven't installed the game yet to see how it works.

I'm out on the road right now, which means my bandwidth is extremely limited, so I haven't tried to download anything since then with the Downloader to see if it is working or not.

Yes but that is the problem. Direct download also won't work as the file is corrupted. Try it. It won't install.

[EDIT] One person reported direct download now works.. I have not tried this yet.

Had the same issue with downloader, but just tried direct download through Firefox and it installed successfully.
I have the same issue, tried both Downloader and the new Galaxy client.

With the Downloader I get the "error in chunk" error.

With Galaxy, when I go to Defcon's Game Backup Copy, click on "DEFCON (GOG-9) 72mb", English, OS Windows the Galaxy client downloads to 100%, puts a file named "setup_defcon_2.1.0.9.exe.download" in my download folder, and then tells me, "server error".

I just downloaded Hearts of Iron III and S2 Silent Storm, about 1gb each with no problems so there is definitely something wrong with the Defcon file on GOG's servers. I did open a support ticket about this issue but the ticket was closed blaming my issues on a bad .NET installation, sigh....

*edit: I downloaded direct with my firefox browser and the "setup_defcon_2.1.0.9.exe" (75,396,400 bytes) installed fine.

Please report it to them. I just tried it now again. (Been trying for weeks) still not working.
The good news is you said when you manually downloaded it, it worked fine. I'll try mine again.

I can't believe the problem is STILL there. :(

I got the same, several "pre recorded" emails which is quite annoying but necessary on their end I guess. It does delay things quite q bit though. :(

I just emailed them again now saying it is still not working.

We will have to put this one down to "Can't download with the GoG downloader". It's a small file so it's not biggie really.

What's not working? Feel free to describe how it's not working (the reporting). Also, do you have Defcon in the library of whatever account you are attempting to use to send in the ticket?
