Afraid not. :(
There are FOV fixes out there, like this one:

widescreenfixer 3.4 r662 > https://www.widescreenfixer.org/

Does it work? Can anyone try it out? Having the FOV fixed is imperative for me before I buy this game...
it works, can set the FOV to any setting you want, only issue i noticed is when saving the game the cursor highlights the accept tab just slightly above it ,other than that its great
Fantastic! Thx for the heads up!
I had to set Origin as game version instead of Steam for WSF to work.
So, I tried for a week to download that program, but the site seems down :(

Does anyone knows where I can download it ?

I have the DVD version and widescreenfixer does not work with it. Is there a trick to get it to work?

I read on another forum that suggests you make sure you have these installed for widescreenfixer to work:

Microsoft .NET Framework v4.0
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86 and/or x64)

I also read the suggestion that you make sure widescreenfixer is running as administrator.

You could also try changing the version number of your Dead Space installation in widescreenfixer. Or, you could try installing a patch for Dead Space if there is one.

It's on Github -- someone rescued the last release (v3.4 r737) and plans to rewrite it.

Just go to this directory on github: /dlrudie/WidescreenFixer/releases/tag/Original
(Apologies, as this won't let me post the actual gh link.)
Thanks, setting WidescreenFixer to Origin works on the GOG version.

Thank god! I get it that the devs wanted to let you feel claustrophobic, but on a big monitor it really induces motion sickness.
