After install, uninstall of game and redist C++ and reinstall the game still will not load. I get a "DOTT remastered has stopped" error. Running w7 Home Premium on a core i3 with 8 gigs of memory. Thanks

Thanks. Tried them all to no avail. On the page you mention a folder with "_CommonRedist" but I'm not seeing it

This fixed it for me. Thanks!
I had the same problem running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit with 8 GB RAM. After installing the latest Nvidia driver for my GeForce graphics card it works perfectly. Thanks to the posts above for pointing me in the right direction.
I tried running in in a Virtualbox VM from modern.ie (the official Miscrosoft Internet Explorer validation images) in win7 and 10, both fail with the same error.

Updating the drivers with the add-on disk image did not fix it.

Also having trouble loading it on OSX El Capitan, I get the first loading screen, then it segfaults.
