Hello, I've had this happen twice: Immediately after an expedition, if I've tied with someone else for fame (say, 320 in the first one), the game will sort of hang at that screen. It hangs just after Gift/Sell screen. I press continue and nothing happens. I have to terminate it manually. My sys specs are: 4ghz Pentium 4, 1 gb ram, LinuxLite (Ubuntu 14.04)/WinXP dual boot. The game is version 0.24.0.7e. I havent seen this behavior in the windows version. Anyone know anything about this? If not, I'd like to report it as a bug. Thanks, guys and have a great day!

PSS: Just tried again and it seems that a tie has nothing to do with it. I simply can't go to the second mission for some reason. All three of the hangs occurred between 1st and 2nd missions.

It is a permission issue. I can open as root, and get past the first mission. Does anyone know a list of files that that the game uses for config, etc? Thank you

Confirmed on Debian 8 Jessie 32-bit. If I start the program with gksudo then it will allow me to progress, but not if I just start it as a user. Changing the permissions of the files (from read+write to read+write+execute)that it looks like the program is having problems with (/tmp/.org-chromium/Chromium ...) while running the program as a user doesn't seem to help.

I just downloaded 25.1.0 (GOG-6), and am still having the same issue.
