I am playing the game on Windows 10 using just what gog provides to instal the game. i have moved the music slider all the way up and i still get no music. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

So opening up VLC player in the background fixed the no music issue for me.

The Vogons forum. Basically it has to do with some sort of timing issue in windows.

The VLC solution doesn`t work for me. No in-game music and I`ve been playing for some hours.

I just tried this game but I could not get any music at all so I uninstalled the game again until there is a solution for this. I tried both the VLC/Youtube suggestions, but they did not work. Too bad, it's a good game and I really want to play it. But not without music.

You can try BES, cpukiller, etc. IIRC, the video playback was to eat up CPU.
