me too, menu start campaign, crash no error.. It's new

I just bought the game and I have the same problem
The game starts but when i launch a mission it crashes everytime.

Don't know what to do
May I demand a refund? xD

Try to install it inC:, i downloaded an installer from a different site, and the same crashes followed. The installer defaulted to C: so i tried it, and it worked!

I bought it as well and also was not able to continue after I try to start a new adventure and selected the country....

Had the same issue. Copying the entire Corsairs folder to the C:\ drive (you'll have: C:\Corsairs Gold) and then setting the compatibility mode for Corsairs.exe to Windows 98/Me worked for me.

Please make sure that DEP (Data Execution Prevention) is using its default setting. To do this, follow these steps:
I) Open Menu Start
II) Right click 'Computer' and click 'Properties'
III) Click 'Advanced system settings'
IV) Open tab 'Advanced' and click 'Settings' in 'Performance' section
V) Open tab 'Data Execution Prevention'
VI) Change DEP setting to the first option (Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only)
VII) Confirm with OK.

PS: I copied the folder of the game direclty in C: and now it's working. But in menus and when boarding ships - it goes really slow, it is unplayable. Any help?

I found how to fix the problem !

This solution came from :

The reason preventing the game from working is that the file format was in FAT32 at the time.
So, we'll modify an USB Key to transform it as a files in FAT32.

You need an USB Key to make this (2Go is enough)

Download this software : http://rufus.ie/
Then launch it and format your USB Key like on this screen :

Launch the lancer of GoG and start an install BUT choose as folder the key instead of your hard drive.

When it finished, launch the game with gog and enjoy.

Next time you'll launch the game, you can use directly the exe in the key's folder.
I also advise you to use 800x600 when you want to play at this game
