Looking around on the net, this game seems to require a Broadband Internet Connection, and a login to a corporate server to play.

Is this correct?

I saw it in the Steam forums. GOG should put this on the store page if it's true.

Whilst it is certainly true of the Steam version, the GOG page does explictly state this:

"DRM FREE. No activation or online connection required to play."

Can anyone confirm if this is accurate? I dont want to get locked out of my single player content when their online servers are taken down, so GOG will be an instant buy if its definitely not requiring online connection for single player campaign.
People are also talking about this on the release thread, but nobody seems to have an answer yet.

It seems the devs dropped the requirement!

Suddenly I'm interested!

Yeah, developer confirmed on both GOG and Steam that this requirement was dropped.

Good to my word, I immediately bought it here on GOG !

Looking forward to what I hope is some old school light-on-realism helicopter shoot 'em up. Comance Maximum Overkill was the first game that made me realise the days of the Atari ST were dead ,and 4 colour CGA PC gaming (at a resolution lower than the ST) was forever over...

I remember being brought to a standstill in the street and staring through the shopfront window at the demo running.
