I just stumbled across a kind of new mod for CTP2.

http://motmod.ctp2.info/

I just had a quick run, looks great ;)

You do need to have the Apolyton pack installed, but the producer of the mod did include the links for it!

Just thought to let you guys know as well ;)

Edit:

If anyone knows other good mods, feel free to post them in here ;)

Personally i love every aspect of the game just the way it is, except for one thing, and one thing only..... the AI is inept at counter attacking.

But i don't want the AI to be stronger in general.....

The vanilla AI is wonderful during the ancient ages, its when you get to the modern ages that things start slowing right down - but even then i don't mind that, there is plenty to do in the game other than defending against attack.

Where the problem really becomes obvious is when i go on the offensive - i might like the AI to put up a fight, call it a 'response to invasion mod', make it kick my invading forces arse to take back the cities i took. change nothing else but that, and it will be my perfect game!

Then
download the Apolyton Edition and have fun with it.

They spent quite a bit into the AI as well ;)

AFAIR nothing else really has changed drastically.....

And credit where credit is due:
