I just noticed it now, I don't know how that ended up there. I wonder if it's on the original released by Sierra years ago ?

It was, of course they reprinted them pretty quickly after discovering the mistake. I thought it was awesome that the gog copy comes with the misprinted version though.
Heh, nice one... I wonder how it ended up there in the first place?

Just a theory, it's possible someone hacked the site that hosted the pdf and wrote that into the file, which nobody noticed, since security was not so high a priority back in the day when this game was made.
In Caesar_III_Manual.pdf, it's page 105/115.
GOG should correct this :/ Owners of copyright shouldn't sue GOG for this...
Nah, I think it should stay as it is. That's the beauty of old games. They were made by a handful of people, so their personal habits are evident in the design. It looks more like "made by gamers".
Haha, I must have read through the original manual 2 or 3 times back in the day and never noticed this.
Anyway, I went searching through my cupboards for my original big box copy which is still in great condition......and lo and behold it has the same phrase on page 210 (image attached). If they did reprint the manual I am glad I have the original :)
