Yes, the installer is the complete game now, there is no patch.
it seems that I cannot find even the first episode of broken sword 5. Can you send me both episode on my e-mail please so that I can download them again, or even the second part only. Please I am lost here!
Thank you

Your GOG downloader is always blank unless you click on a game installer or extra for it to actually download.

Just go to My Account -> My Games (you find it in the top GOG bar, next to the search box), then click on Broken Sword 5 and download the installer.

Open the attached image for details.

1 - Toggle the GOG downloader ON, if you haven't already;
2 - Click this to download the game;
3 - Click this to download the extra goodies;

Help?

I saw my BS5 game had been updated on my game shelf so I assumed that meant Episode 2 had been added so I installed it again but it's still just episode 1.

How do I get episode 2? I've been reading the forum but I'm confused thanks.

Have tried to play from my last saved game but I just get credits and then it goes back to the main menu. Have also downloaded Tellur's saved games in to my documents as instructions but all I see are mine when I load the game and am back to square one. Have I missed something?

I tested Tellur's save games and they're working fine... are you sure you placed them in the right folder? It should be My Documents -> Broken Sword 5 (on Windows).

Also, I know it's a bother, but try downloading the installer again and do a clean install of the game.

As for episode 2, it no longer exists, plain and simple. Broken Sword 5 is a complete single game, now, either you have saves to the end of the former episode 1, or you'll have to start all over again.

I definitely put them in to My Documents and I did download the installer again. Should I uninstall it and then reinstall after backing up my saved games?
Hi, my question relates to "the Angel of Death" but more generally to any installed Gog game.
I'd like to know in what directory are written the saves created by the player.
Can anyone help me out ?
Thanks

There is not a single directory which contains all save games data for every GOG game, however many of them are stored into different subdirectories under %USERPROFILE%\Documents\.
As a matter of fact, the save games data for Broken Sword 4 should be located in %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Broken Sword - The Angel of Death\.
