I downloaded the patch file twice, but twice Norton deleted it claiming that it was "unsafe". Is this just a glitch?

I just finished playing the game yesterday and I did not see any patch files? Where are you getting a patch from? On GOG it's version 1.0.0.8. I played it through without any problems or crashes. I recommend just downloading the installer and playing.
