Try those files at www.virustotal.com/? AVG is pretty trigger happy for installers in general and provides false positives on, say, all of the official SWAT3 patches.
Not sure if it's real or not either, but Symantec sure went nuts about backdoor trojans when I tried to run this. Bummer, cause I was lookin forward to tryin it. Oh well, prob not worth the risk for myself.

Yep, got this for both Symantec and MalwareBytes Antimalware.
:(
It deleted something, but the launcher still works for me.
Hmmmmm.
The instructions say: "GOG.com version ONLY: MOVE the file "game.gog" and overwrite the file "game.inst" found in the directory "Games/Blood" into "Games/CDMount""

However, there's only a "game.ins file" and not a" game.inst" file (note the 't' at the end) in my gog blood folder. Do we copy over the game.ins file into the launcher's Games/CDMount folder and leave the existing gog.inst file in there or delete it? Or do we rename the gog.ins file (to "gog.inst") in the GOG blood installation folder, then copy it over and overwrite the launcher's original gog.inst file?

Basically the gog.ins file that comes with the gog installation has a different file suffix. So it won't overwrite the launcher's original one because windows sees it as a different file. Do we leave the ".ins" extension or rename it to ".inst"?

Also, I saw that some other people are having the same issues as me where blood launches in a reduced sized window (in the upper left quadrant of the screen) every time I launch it, and i have to reset the resolution each time. McTecman mentioned that this issue might happen because :

"The resolution problem could stem from the resolution being defined twice (well, more than twice, really): Once in the DOSBox configuration file (\Games\dosboxBlood.conf) and another time in every copy of Blood.cfg in the subfolder in \Games\, an example would be \Games\Blood\blood.cfg.

In dosboxBlood.conf:
fullresolution=800x600

In all the copies of Blood.cfg:
ScreenWidth = 800
ScreenHeight = 600 "

Any ideas how to prevent this from happening every time I use the launcher? Could I edit one of the .conf or .cfg files to make it only apply my preferred resolution once and stay that way?

Make both fullscreen and desktop to original, then set 800x600 in blood.cfg

For your info: OUWB on GOG comes with CD image, game.gog is .bin and game.ins is .cue, dosboxBlood.conf is main one for general settings, dosboxBlood_single.conf is for Blood1, dosboxBlood_addon.conf is for Cryptic Passage. Music should stay in the same directory as other files. In game conf files (addon or single) change "imgmount D game.ins -t iso " to "imgmount D game.gog -t iso" if you want midi music as game.ins basically add cd music to image so if you mount only cd image without cue, they won't play and will switch to midi automatically.

BAITD2
Carnage
Friend
Legends
Lines
Pulp
RATMEP1
Sectwar
TWoAFa

i don't have those on my Gog Blood folder

ANYONE?
You need to download the custom launcher which comes with the mods. GOG doesn't distribute user-made content.
I know its been touched on in this thread already and people have said its just an error in the mod and can't be fixed, but I decided to play Bloody Pulp Fiction again today and there are a TON of missing / messed up textures. I normally wouldn't mind a few but these kinda ruin the game experience, and this mod is one of the most creative I've ever played. Any ideas? Or am I the only one experiencing it?

Instead of running it through this launcher use the one build in withing the mod in new BPF edition.

Use this version:
http://cruo.bloodgame.ru/index.php?section=addons&rid=6646
Cutscenes are here (but quality is questionable):
http://baitd.bloodgame.ru/files/addons/bpf/bpf_130961ny_csenes.zip
Now all you need to do is change value of memsize to 64 in general DOSBX install or just change GOG dosbox conf single (or make new but shortcut to desktop must be editet or made copy to reflect this):

@ECHO OFF
mount C ".."
c:
imgmount D game.gog -t iso
cls
BPF.EXE
exit

Why MIDI? Well, not all levels in the game has cd music. Unfortunately some graphics are glitched but less that 1.2 version (famous walls with Beast sprites) or few doors have incorrect signs (that haunted manor).

I just tried to do as you suggested but the zip archive that contains Bloody Pulp Fiction 1.3 is broken. I've attached an image to show you.

Use this one:

Seems like author of the mod reuploaded corrupted archive on his own site which is a shame because everything worked earlier.

Thank you! It took awhile but I've finally got it working and the textures look great! Man, this is what Blood 2 should have been!

By the way, do you recommend French Meat?

French Meat is decent enough.
French Meat is kind of nice, like The Way of All Flesh meets A Farewell to Arms shortened to single episode. There are good designs but main emphasis is put into gameplay so you won't have much time exploring and look for details.

My favourite from this one: People Juice Factory, Fire Wings Airport, Cabalcaida666 Airline. Good looks but not so great gameplay flow: first three maps. Last ones (Corpses Museum and The Clowny Area) are just straightforward action with one boss map without credits screen. How? If you beat Clowny Area it will restart to the beginning of the level but with actual weapons, ammo, health and armor after battle. Also if you killed only one boss and reload the game it will immediately restart to the beginning of the level so actually just one boss triggers map ending.

Bloody Pulp Fiction enters with interesting designs but they aren't good when you want MAX them, so not always all secrets or enemies to kill are possible. It's all about story, they will speak plot about level but half of them is just plainly retarded (for example, Cultists of the Corn, you do all those crazy things just to get Gasoline in room near the beginning). Living Deadlands as kind of ancient one lifeform degenerated beyond recognition is neat idea (reminds me body of The Many from SS2) but actual gameplay is so wrong in several places. It's not best mod, certainly feels it was fan made but before Death Wish that one have been the most unique. Also, it has Monolith. xd
