Hello there!
I bought Blood 2 about a month ago, and i'm still trying to make it run. I've tried everything, the Widescreen Fixes, new .exe, dgvoodoo, without any mods, Offline-Installer only, Deleting "gog.com Blood 2 fix".
Everytime i'm stuck right after the Start Screen, when i press "Launch Blood2" then a small black window will pop up for a few seconds and then nothing. The Game just won't start. Please help me.

-Windows 10 20H2
-i7 7700K
-GTX1080
-16 GB DDR4 RAM

EDIT:
I've got the solution if anybody else experienced this kind of problems:
Unplug your USB-Headset, in my case Logitech G933 then all of a sudden this damn game works. This solution also works for other LithTech 1 Games (Shogo also works now)

I appreciate all your help!

First of all, try launching the unmodded game from its own executable, without using Galaxy, and look for any error messages both on screen and in Windows Event Viewer.

Secondly, I suggest you to check this page if you haven't already.

This DXWrapper doesn't work proper as it doesn't lock the game to 60 fps max. This causes cutscenes to run too fast which results in dialogue cutting off and might also introduce other problems. I told the dev about it over one year ago but he never updated it. :(

Thanks for the information. I've never used this wrapper and I suggested it because the OP clearly stated to have already tried every other possible solution.

Anyway shouldn't be possible to lock the game FPS using the graphics driver control panel?

Normally yes but LithTech games seem to ignore the fps limit you set in the graphics driver control panel. For example I have set a 60 fps limit for Aliens vs. Predator 2 but the fps ingame still go way higher than that. Blood II is probably not any different in that regard.

Already tried that, i downloaded the offline installer, uninstalled it, fresh install from gog servers nothing, even looked into windows event viewer and fixed one problem but still the game won't start! It will just load the "Client.exe" like in the picture attached and then nothing happens. Already tried the files from the github page didn't work out either. I also tried to launch Blood 2 without the launcher and directly with the Client.exe (with the load parametres for the .rez files) even that wouldn't do. Thanks for the help!

Stuff like this really shows how much this game needs a proper remaster. Too bad Atari doesn't give a shit.
Maybe it was ever finished in the first place. It needs more than a "proper remaster".
1. buy a usb disk drive.
2. install windows xp on it.
3. Disable the network connection in the window xp settings
4. learn how boot on this usb drive
5. enjoy old games ^^

Might be a pain to find XP drivers for your hardware. Although a bit clunky, WSLg might be a better long-term solution.

I found out that it runs if it's on low resolutions. 1920x1080 crashes it every time.
