Patejl: I'm really disappointed. This looks like GOG will not fix this bug.
Plus, 96Kbps OGG's in all redbooked GOG's games? I hope this is just a joke. I really want to buy few another games with redbook audio on GOG (Settlers 2 Gold for example), but not in this crappy quality.

The One Unit Whole Blood launcher comes with a better format for the audio.
are there still problems or is this fixed now?
Seeing this issue and having a CD copy of Blood in my possession, I would like to make a custom rip of the CD audio soundtrack with the track problem fixed for you guys. Would it be okay to upload the soundtrack fix here on GOG's Blood forum or not?

I don't think you'll be able to fit the files on the forum due to size restriction of attachments. You could always contact GOG and offer them correctly ripped CD audio files which they may then be able to put into their installer.

Another option would be to link to a file hosting site where you have uploaded the files but I don't know the legalities of this, and it is most likely illegal as the content is still copyrighted material.

I'd advise you to contact GOG first to see if you can sort something out with them. In any case, keep us informed of what happens as I'm sure we'd all like to get correct music for this game. :)

I think posting the OGG files to MediaFire will be fine since I saw something like this done with the Rayman Forever game offered here and someone uploaded the proper PC soundtrack for it and nothing has happened so far.
But does this one here fix the issue?

Well, it doesn't mention anything about the music files, so I'm not sure that it does.
"- fixes some of the gog.com release music tracks by providing an alternative file set and includes the "Mark McWane" re-orchestration of the original midi music" ?

So it does. I completely missed that when I read it. Hmm. Wonder what it means by 'some'. Might be worth just downloading it to get the OGG files if that is the case.
:) Please let me know if that works

Give it a shot, if it does work I will only upload my OGG rip if someone wants them in the max quality you can get out of an OGG file.
